There's the catacombs in Paris, but there's a whole system of underground tunnels people explore and hold pop up events in. Some of them cross over with some old sewer sections.

I just find it pretty interesting, balancing all of that but still being able to come home to yourself.
the only other context i've ever had are spy movies and i'm pretty sure those are just grand exaggerations

It took a lot of time to get there.
Spy work definitely involves a lot more research and patiently waiting than the movies let on.
